This is in progress. By best condition I don't mean the most muscle as I competetd as a bodybuilder in my 20's and I was a lot bigger. "Conditioning" is usually a mark of performance ability, i.e. how fit you one is and this is generally determined by vo2max or and endurance test. In Bodybuilding you use "energy work" which is cardio or metabolio resistance training to get as lean and hard looking as possible. The goal is to minimize if not obliterate completely subcutaneous stores of fat and water while simulatneously filling the muscles with water and glycogen so that they are stretching the fascia that surrounds them and appearing in bold relief as if chiseled from stone. It is a very difficult state to achieve on cue, for a contest or photoshoot. The bodyfat needs to be as close to zero as possible. But the water balance is very tricky and people train all year just to miss their peak by hours. You should have seen me the next morning, bro........I would have won the whole thing. Statements like this are heard at any competition.
